Registration instructions
Instructions for registering Translators
In case you might encounter any difficulties with our registration form, please find an illustrated explanation here below.
Please notice that the registration form is composed of 4 (four) parts divided in the following tabs:
1. Personal Information,
2. Working experience,
3. Languages,
4. Billing Information.
Please notice as well that all of them have to be completed before saving!
Very important: All pink fields are mandatory; please fill them in in order to save.
1. Personal Information, this is the first tab to be filled in.
PLEASE NOTE: After the compilation of the first tab (Personal Information), please DO NOT click on the “Save data“-button, but just continue with the form, clicking on the “Working experience” tab. The “Save data“-button must be clicked only in on the fourth tab (Billing Information), after all information is filled in.
If you happen to click on “Save data” before reaching the fourth tab, you will receive an error message saying “The Year field must be filled in.” Please do not be alarmed, just click on the “Working experience” tab, and continue to fill in the information.
PLEASE NOTE: In the “Photo field”, please DO NOT insert photos of large size, but only photo up to 500Kb.
2. Working experice
In the second tab “Working experience” please fill in all obligatory fields in pink.
By clicking on the red dot marked with a red dot on the right side of the field, more data can be added to “Personal Information” and “Professional Experience“. If, for example, a translator wants to list his bachelor, master and PhD, he can enter all three of them. By clicking on the red dot
, new fields will appear that give the possibility to enter the additional data.
PLEASE NOTE: in the “Education & qualifications” tab, please enter at least your last academic qualification obtained. In the “Professional Experience” tab, please enter the years of job experience as a professional translator, as well as the last working experience, the duration and its description.
3. Languages
In the third tab “Languages” please fill in all mandatory fields in pink.
PLEASE NOTE: In the field “Language Pair“, it is possible to enter different language pairs. By clicking on the red dot on the right side of the field, more language combinations with their relative rates can be added.
Once you have completed this page, please click on the tab “Billing Information” and go on to the next page.
PLEASE NOTE: Please DO NOT attach files that are too large (only up to 1MB). In the field “Short CV or Company profile“, please DO NOT insert long texts, but only 3-5 short paragraphs.
4. Billing Information
In this particular page it is mandatory to click the little box (required) for acceptance and then click on the “Save data“- button in order to complete registration.
On this page it is NOT NECESSARY to provide tax and bank information. If wished, these can be supplied after first collaboration.
PLEASE NOTE: If you receive an error like: “Sorry the Ajax error”, it only implies that your session has expired. Please login again by clicking the red Login button at the top.
If you insert a photo, it will be displayed at the top as a miniature next to your name, and in normal size on the left of your “CONTROL PANEL”. We therefore encourage members to insert their photos.
To access the “CONTROL PANEL”, please just click on the green “Control Panel” button on top. A page as above shown will then appear. If you wish to modify your data already entered, simply click on the “Edit Profile” and the “Personal Information”- page will appear.
After you have finished editing your data, please save again and then click on the red “SIGN OUT”-button.
