FAQ
Questions about cosmetics translation
Do you translate INCI names into Dari or Persian?
No. INCI names are the same in every country and stay in their international form. We translate the product name, function, directions, warnings and claims around them.
Can you lay out right-to-left text on our packaging?
Yes. We work in your Illustrator or InDesign files, set the Dari, Pashto or Persian text right to left with suitable fonts, and send back print-ready files with a PDF for your check.
Should our labels for Afghanistan be in Dari or in Pashto?
Dari and Pashto are both official languages of Afghanistan, and many brands use both on the label. We can advise on space and order on the pack; your local distributor confirms the requirements for your product.
Do you also translate for Iran and Pakistan?
Yes. We translate into Persian for Iran and into Urdu and Punjabi for Pakistan, with the same process and the same checks.
Is our product information kept confidential?
Yes. We sign a non-disclosure agreement on request, and only the people working on your project see your files.
